Mobile Device



What are Mobile Devices?
Mobile devices generally are words for any type of handheld computer. These devices are designed to be extremely portable, and can often fit in your hand. Some mobile devices like tablets, e-readers, and smartphones—are great enough to do many of the same work you can do with a desktop or laptop computer.

Tablet computers
Tablet Personal Computers are designed to be portable like laptop computer. They run a different computing experience. Tablet computers don't have keyboards or touch-pads this makes it obviously different from laptops and desktop computers. Instead the entire screen is touch-sensitive letting you to type on a virtual keyboard using your finger as a mouse pointer.
Certainly, Tablet computers can't do every work that computers can do. That is why a computer, desktop or laptop is still compulsory in order to use some programs. Table is conveniently ideal as a second computer.



E-readers
The E-book readers which is also called e-readers are related to tablet computers, but they are mostly designed for reading e-books digital, downloadable books. E.g. Amazonian Kindle, Barnes and Kobo etc. Many e-readers use an e-ink display, which is easier to read than a computer display. You can even read in bright sunlight, as if you were reading a regular book.
No need of an e-reader to read e-books. They can also be read on tablets, smartphones, laptops, and desktops.

Smartphones
When you are looking for a more powerful version of a traditional cell phone get a smartphone. In addition to the same basic features phone calls, voicemail, text messaging smartphones can connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi or a cellular network which requires purchasing a monthly data plan.
Smartphones can be used for the same thing you would normally do on a computer, browsing the Web, such as checking your email, or shopping online.
Almost all smartphones use a touch-sensitive screen, which means that there isn't a physical keyboard on the device. Instead, you'll type on a virtual keyboard and use your fingers to interact with the display. Additional standard features include a high-quality digital camera and the ability to play digital music and video files.   Smartphone can actually replace electronics like digital music player, an old laptop, and digital camera in the same device.





Operating Systems
Computer's operating system (OS) manage all of the hardware and software on the computer. At time, there are numerous dissimilarities computer programs running at the same time, and they all need to access your computer's memory, central processing unit (CPU), and storage. Thus operating system coordinates all of this to make sure each program gets what it needs.
