System
An
operating system is the most essential software runs on a computer. It copes the
computer's memory and processes, as well as all of its software and hardware. It let you to communicate with the computer without knowing how
to speak or understand the computer's language. A computer is hopeless and meaningless
without an operating system.
Types of operating
systems
Operating
systems are usually originated pre-loaded on any computer you buy. You can use
the operating system that comes with their computer, but also possible to
upgrade or even change operating systems. The three most common operating
systems for personal computers are Microsoft Windows, Linux and
Mac OS X.

operating systems use a graphical
user interface (GUI).
A GUI lets you use your mouse to click icons,
menus, buttons, and everything is clearly displayed
on the screen using a combination of text,
icons and graphics.
Separately
operating system's GUI has a dissimilar appearance and impression, so switching
to a different operating system may seem unfamiliar at first but, modern
operating systems are designed to be easy to use,
and most of the basic values are the same.
