FORMAT FOR SENDING E-MAIL BY INTERNET
Internet is sent on a specific format, which appears automatically
on the computer screen when you click e-mail button on the top section of the
screen called toolbar. A blank similar to the
following diagram will appear on the screen:
From: This is the address of the
person sending the e-mail
To: This place is for the address of
the person to whom the e- mail is sent.
Subject: This is the title of the
content of the message, e.g. Hello, Birthday, Greetings, Season’s Greetings,
etc.
Messages:This is where you start
your message in the form of an ordinary letter or any other convenient way.
CC: List of
those to whom Carbon Copies (CC) of the message are to be
sent, if any.
BCC: Those to whom Blind
Carbon Copies (BCC) are to be sent. Their names may not be sent with
the message.
Attach: Attachments
sent with the message, if any.
The Date and Time of sending the message will appear
automatically.
